In a dramatic legal turn, influencer Christopher Blake Griffith has accused NFL star Stefon Diggs of sexual battery, claiming that Diggs drugged and attempted to assault him in 2023. The allegation comes as a counterclaim to a defamation lawsuit filed by Diggs, who denies the accusations.
The legal battle between Griffith and Diggs has intensified with the recent filing of counterclaims by Griffith. According to court documents, Griffith alleges that on May 22, 2023, after attending events in Washington, D.C., including a charity basketball game, Diggs invited him to stay at his Maryland home. During the night out, Griffith claims that Diggs offered him candy that he believes was drugged, leading to symptoms such as dilated pupils, tingling skin, and difficulty speaking.
Upon returning to Diggs’ residence, Griffith alleges that in the car, Diggs exposed his penis and began masturbating, motioning for Griffith to touch him. Griffith refused and exited the vehicle, but Diggs allegedly followed, gripped his shoulder, and tried to kiss him, putting his tongue in Griffith’s ear and whispering invitations to his room. Griffith, feeling disoriented from the alleged drugging, ran to the bathroom to plan an escape.
After leaving the bathroom, Griffith claims he was confronted by Diggs’ brother, Darez Diggs, and two others, who threatened him and demanded he not discuss the events. He was forced into a vehicle and dropped off at an airport in nothing but a sweatshirt. Approximately a week later, on May 29, 2023, Griffith alleges he was attacked in his Los Angeles apartment building by associates of Diggs, including Darez, who kicked and punched him, causing injuries like traumatic brain injury and fractures.
In response to these allegations, Diggs filed a defamation lawsuit in October 2025, accusing Griffith of concocting a false story for online stature. Diggs disputes Griffith’s version, stating that after the night out, he went to his bedroom and asked his assistant to have Griffith leave the property. He denies any sexual advances or assault.
Griffith’s attorney, Jake Lebowitz, has stated that his client is ready to pursue justice and hold Diggs accountable for the alleged attacks. Lebowitz called Diggs’ claims fabricated and emphasized that Griffith is the victim. Diggs’ legal representatives have not commented on the counterclaims but previously maintained Griffith’s allegations are untrue.
