Scheana Shay addresses rumor she got into ‘huge fight’ with ‘Southern Charm’ star at BravoCon

Scheana Shay has publicly refuted claims that she was involved in a physical confrontation with a Southern Charm cast member during BravoCon 2025, dismissing the rumor as entirely false in a pointed social media comment. The speculation began when the Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi alleged on Saturday, November 15, that Shay had engaged in a ‘huge fight’ with an unnamed Southern Charm personality in the green room at the Las Vegas convention. According to the account, the altercation was so intense that security personnel had to intervene to separate the two reality stars after a heated verbal exchange allegedly turned physical.

In response, Shay took to the comments section of the post to deny the claims, writing simply ‘Not true’ alongside a Pinocchio emoji, which is often used to indicate dishonesty or fabrication. Her brief but firm rebuttal quickly garnered attention from fans and media outlets alike, with many noting the irony given past controversies. Shay, who has not further addressed the incident or identified the Southern Charm cast member involved, traveled to Las Vegas for the three-day Bravo fan convention alongside other network stars.

BravoCon 2025, held from November 14 to 16, brought together numerous personalities from Bravo’s reality shows for fan meet-and-greets, panels, and exclusive events. Shay, a veteran of Vanderpump Rules, actively participated, sharing backstage moments on social media with her husband Brock Davies and expressing enthusiasm for the festivities. In one post, she wrote, “Day 0 was a warm up. Day 1 Bravocon let’s go! 🎰✨,” highlighting her positive engagement with the event.

Beyond the rumor, Shay has been in the news for her career decisions, notably announcing that she will not join the cast of the upcoming third season of The Valley, a spin-off of Vanderpump Rules. On her Scheananigans podcast, she revealed that she turned down the offer after careful deliberation, citing a desire for a fresh start rather than continuing in a similar role. She mentioned consulting with other reality stars, such as Paige DeSorbo, who had exited popular shows, to inform her choice.

This incident recalls previous controversies involving Shay, particularly the 2023 allegation that she punched her former Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss amid the fallout from Leviss’s affair with Tom Sandoval. At the time, Shay defended herself by stating that she could not form a fist due to her long acrylic nails, a detail that resurfaced in fan discussions following the new rumors. The earlier case involved a temporary restraining order that was later dropped, adding context to Shay’s history of public disputes.

The swift denial has effectively quashed the current gossip, with Shay shifting focus to her ongoing projects, including her recently released memoir ‘My Good Side’ and her podcast. As BravoCon 2025 concludes, attention turns to the network’s future programming and the dynamics among its stars, with Shay remaining a prominent and often controversial figure in the reality television landscape. Her ability to navigate such rumors underscores the intense scrutiny faced by public figures in the digital age.
