Terror Jr We’re Down to Make An Album With Kylie After ‘Fourth Strike’ Success

Kylie Jenner has embarked on a new creative journey with her music debut in the single “Fourth Strike,” collaborating with pop duo Terror Jr, and both artists are expressing interest in developing a full album together. This venture comes after the song’s release, which has generated significant attention and discussion online.

The track “Fourth Strike” features Jenner, who is credited as King Kylie, and serves as a sequel to Terror Jr’s 2016 song “Three Strikes.” That earlier song gained prominence when Jenner used it in a commercial for her Kylie Cosmetics lip glosses, helping to launch her beauty brand. In this new collaboration, Jenner not only provides vocals but also wrote her own lyrics for the bridge, where she sings, “I just wanna tell you, I’m sorry / Touch me, baby, tell me I’m your baby / Write your name all over my body,” followed by a whisper of “King Kylie.”

In a recent Q&A shared on social media, Jenner opened up about her lifelong dream of becoming a pop star, stating, “This is my dream, even since I came out of the womb, I wanted to be a pop star but I just never had the confidence.” Now at 28, she feels a sense of urgency, adding, “I’m going to be 30 soon and I just don’t want to look back on life and have any regrets.” She humorously downplayed her abilities, saying, “I don’t think I’m like Adele or anything,” but emphasized her desire to explore music further.

Terror Jr, consisting of lead singer-songwriter Lisa Vitale and songwriter David Singer-Vine, shared their excitement about working with Jenner. In an exclusive interview with TMZ, they revealed that they were blown away by her contribution and gave her full creative control. Vitale and Singer-Vine noted that this collaboration was a full-circle moment, as “Three Strikes” was their first work as a group and now, nine years later, they’re teaming up again with Jenner taking an active role in the music.

The duo expressed eagerness to continue collaborating, with Singer-Vine saying, “We’d love to do more with Kylie!” They highlighted that Jenner’s team initiated the partnership for “Fourth Strike” to coincide with the launch of her throwback “King Kylie” makeup collection, creating a synergistic marketing effort. Terror Jr’s upcoming album, “The Terror Jr Album,” is scheduled for release on November 7, and they hope this single will build momentum for their new work.

However, the release has not been without controversy. On social media platforms like X, fans and critics alike have voiced mixed opinions. Some users labeled the song “embarrassing” and criticized the heavy use of autotune, with one commenter advising, “Oh baby stick to the lip kits.” Others mocked the idea of Jenner as a pop star, questioning her vocal range and suggesting it detracts from her established brand.

Despite the backlash, Jenner remains undeterred. She celebrated the single’s release on Instagram, posting photos and videos from the recording studio, including one of her daughter Stormi singing along. In her caption, she reflected on the journey, writing, “There was a little rumor 10 years ago that i was the one actually singing on 3 strikes. It wasn’t me (wish it was) so i had the idea to come together for fourth strike and it would actually be ME FEATURED!” She thanked Terror Jr for “making another perfect song” and expressed gratitude for the opportunity.

Looking ahead, Jenner has hinted at more music projects, telling reporters, “I hope so. I would love to try. I don’t want it to end. And I think, why not? I think we should try. Let’s like, make an album.” This potential shift into music could signal a broader expansion of her career, blending her beauty empire with entertainment ventures. As Terror Jr prepares for their album release, the collaboration with Jenner may open doors for future cross-industry innovations, though it remains to be seen how the public will receive her continued musical efforts.
