Sami Sheen highlights ‘every single’ tattoo she’s ‘severely insecure’ about and plans to remove

Sami Sheen, the 21-year-old daughter of actors Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards, has revealed in a TikTok video that she plans to remove all her tattoos due to severe insecurity, citing that she got them as a teenager before her ‘brain was developed.’ This candid disclosure, which includes a detailed ‘tattoo tour’ of her body art, has sparked widespread discussion about body image and regret among young adults.

In the video, Sheen explained that her decision stems from deep-seated insecurity about every tattoo on her body, many of which she acquired starting at age 16. She expressed that she never shared a tattoo tour before because of these feelings, emphasizing that the ink was done during a period when she lacked full maturity. The OnlyFans model, wearing an olive green T-shirt from her living room, systematically showcased each tattoo in order, beginning with a butterfly effect design on her left arm that she found on Pinterest but now dislikes.

Sheen highlighted several tattoos that contribute to her discomfort, including a small bear carrying a flower on her right upper arm and a cherub smoking a joint with a crooked wine glass, which she described as her ‘least favorite’ and the ‘worst’ one she has. She admitted to purposefully wearing baggy shirts to conceal the cherub tattoo. Other early tattoos, such as a cow head with a heart on its forehead—which she likes due to her love for animals—and various pieces done by a cousin practicing tattooing, were also shown, with Sheen joking about her teenage impulsivity.

After turning 18, Sheen began getting tattoos in professional shops, starting with fairy wing tattoos between her shoulder blades that she recalled as extremely painful. She expressed uncertainty about removing these wings due to the anticipated discomfort of the removal process. Additional tattoos from this period include two delicately sketched fairies on her arms that she ‘loves’ and is debating keeping, a simple bow she dislikes, and matching tattoos like a horseshoe from a former friend.

Sheen also shared more personal tattoos, such as a Billie Eilish quote reading ‘Not my responsibility,’ a rainbow from her first pride parade, a disco ball symbolizing her love for music, and a Chrome Hearts cross she preferred not to discuss. An ankle tattoo commemorating her childhood dog, Sugar, held sentimental value as it reflected where the pet slept. She noted that while some tattoos have positive associations, the overall collection no longer aligns with her self-image.

The removal process is expected to take up to two years, and Sheen expressed both excitement and dread about it. This revelation follows her recent openness about other personal changes, including sharing all her plastic surgery procedures in October 2024, which involved fillers, a nose job, and breast augmentation. In June 2024, she announced plans to remove her breast implants due to health issues linked to breast implant illness, highlighting a pattern of public vulnerability about her body.

Sheen’s transparency resonates with broader conversations about body autonomy and the long-term impacts of youthful decisions, particularly in the age of social media where influencers often share personal journeys. As she embarks on this removal journey, her story may inspire others to reconsider their own choices and seek self-acceptance, while also underscoring the emotional and physical challenges of tattoo removal.
