On May 1, 2025, Meghan King arrived at the Edmonds’ home in Frontenac, Missouri, around 5 p.m. to drop off a communion dress for her daughter, as she had coordinated with Jim earlier that day. According to police reports obtained by Us Weekly, Kortnie Edmonds claimed that Meghan rang the doorbell repeatedly and refused to simply leave the dress at the doorstep as instructed.
Kortnie told authorities that after she asked Meghan to leave the dress, Meghan became upset and allegedly entered the home without permission, yelling for her daughter.
