Josh Hall has publicly condemned his ex-wife Christina Haack for airing their divorce details on social media, labeling her actions as immature and lacking class in a recent interview that sparked widespread media coverage.
In the interview with Daily Mail, Hall explained that he initially avoided public commentary to respect their children and families but felt forced to speak out because only Haack’s side had been heard. He criticized her for behaving like a “pissed off teenager” on social media, which he found unnecessary and damaging to their privacy. Hall emphasized that divorce should not be for public consumption, despite their status as public figures, and expressed disappointment in her approach.
The couple married in 2021 after a whirlwind romance but separated in July 2024, finalizing their divorce in May 2025 after a contentious process. Haack had previously claimed on social media and in interviews that Hall requested $65,000 monthly in spousal support, an allegation he strenuously denied. Hall pointed out that Haack, with an estimated net worth of $25 million, earned significantly more during their marriage, and he contributed financially to the best of his ability.
Under the settlement terms, Haack paid Hall $300,000 to divide assets, including their shared Nashville estate, and both parties waived any future spousal support. Additionally, she covered $40,000 in his attorney’s fees, mediation costs, and an earlier $100,000 payout, which Hall did not have to reimburse. In return, Hall received two properties in Nashville, a California property, several vehicles, and other assets, effectively ending the financial disputes.
Hall revealed that he spent nearly $250,000 on legal fees throughout the divorce, highlighting the emotional and financial toll of the process. He stated that he never requested spousal support and voluntarily gave up more in the settlement to avoid a prolonged court battle, aiming for a fair and amicable resolution. Hall expressed that Haack should be grateful for his concessions, which helped expedite the closure of their marriage.
Both individuals have since moved on with new partners; Haack is dating businessman Christopher Larocca, while Hall is in a relationship with Stephanie Gabrys. Hall extended well-wishes to Haack for her future, noting that he wouldn’t criticize her if she chooses to marry again until she finds happiness, reflecting a desire for mutual peace and moving forward.
This public feud highlights the challenges celebrities face in managing personal matters under intense public scrutiny and may influence how similar disputes are handled in the future. As both focus on their new chapters, the incident serves as a reminder of the importance of privacy and respect in high-profile relationships.
